Summary
- The Summary panel displays three to five bars indicating the hours remaining before you are in violation of Hours of Service rules. A pink bar with red, negative time remaining, indicates you are in violation of that rule.
-
- Clock: Indicates your current rule set (US, Canada, or intrastate AK, CA, FL, TX).
- Available Hours: Shows the remaining time available on each clock.
-
Off-Duty Today and Off-Duty Deferral status will show for drivers on Canadian Rules. Note: time taken outside of a reset will show in parentheses (not for CAN North drivers).
-
Will Pair SB checkbox allows Canadian driver clocks to display time based on a paired sleeper berth (optimistic clock) when checked.
Note: Driving time remaining is affected by the time remaining on the other clocks. Therefore, Driving time may be less if one of the other clocks has less time remaining. Available On-Duty time is the lesser of the times remaining on the 14-hour and 60/70-hour clocks.
- US drivers see four rows:
-
- 8-Hour Rest Break - hours remaining until the driver must take a 30 minute rest break. Note: This clock only appears if your current ruleset supports the rest break rule.
- 11-hour Driving - hours remaining for driving in a single shift (11/day).
- 14 hour On-Duty - hours remaining for being on duty in a single shift (14/day).
- 70 hour On-Duty - hours remaining for being on duty in a duty cycle of seven (60 hours max.) or eight (70 hours max.) days.
- Canadian drivers see five rows:
-
- 13-hour Driving - hours remaining for driving in a single shift (11/day).
- 14 hour On-Duty - hours remaining for being on duty in a single shift (14/day).
- Shift Hours - hours remaining before the driver must take a mandatory 8 hour rest (16/day).
- 70 hour On-Duty - hours remaining for being on duty for seven (70 hours max.) or fourteen (120 hours max.) days without a mandatory 24 hour off-duty period.
- Day Off Remaining - hours remaining for being on duty prior to a mandatory 36-hour (7 day cycle) or 72-hour (14 day cycle) off-duty period.
