Download Microsoft's Critical Updates Package

You may see several minor problems in the Qualcomm web-based services if you have not downloaded Microsoft's Critical Updates package. To download this package:

From the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, select Windows Update.
From the Windows Update page, click the Product Updates link.
If you have not previously used this method to install product updates, a Security Warning message prompts you to install the Windows Update Control package. You must click Yes to install the updates.
On the Select Software page you should see Critical Updates package listed. If the box next to Critical Updates package is checked, you have not yet installed the Critical Updates package.
Click Download.
Follow the instructions to complete the download and installation of the Critical Updates package.

Be sure your browser and computer meet the following minimum requirements. Though this tool operates correctly with these minimum specifications, newer computers with additional RAM and better screen resolution may improve how the tool functions.

- IE for Windows XP is available here

My screen is small and I want to see more information.

You can maximize the Internet Explorer window and change to a full-screen view by pressing F11. Press F11 again to return the window to its original look.

Why do I get a Page Error when I attempt to view the screens?

Browsers often cache (store) web pages and images on your local hard drive so that web pages load faster. If you store too many files and images in your browser's cache, you may encounter a Page Error. Follow these steps to delete the temporary files and information that Internet Explorer stores on your computer. This information includes the list of websites you have visited, cookies, information you've entered into web forms (for example, your name and address), website passwords, and other temporarily saved information. Your links and favorites will not be deleted.

My old logs are gone!

By default, only six months of log data are stored in Qualcomm Hours of Service. Be sure to run driver log reports at least every six months.

Do not use a search engine like Google to navigate to Driver Hours Of Service. Type it into your address bar manually, or use the link supplied by your company.
