The User Settings - Services Portal Account section lets users change their Services Portal passwords.
Passwords consist of 8-35 characters long for web users (those with UI access), 24-35 characters long for integration-only users, and must have at least one upper-case letter, one lower-case letter, one number, and one special character (!@#$%&*()+=<>,./?':;-), cannot contain the following special characters (^_\”[]{}~). Passwords are case sensitive. Admins can unlock a user whose login has become locked because of too many failed login attempts.
- New password
- Type the new password. The field is blank when the page opens, even
for users who have active passwords.
- Retype new password
- Type the new password again. The entries must match exactly.
- Require password reset
- Check to make the user set a new password the next time he or she
logs in. The new password must be different from the one the user currently
has.
- Locked out
- Check to lock out this user without deleting the user, such as when
an employee goes on medical leave. Also indicates if the user's log in has been
locked from too many failed login attempts. Clear the check box to allow the
user access to the Services Portal.
