Company Settings - QTRACS: Data Retention

The Data Retention panel lets you set the length of time to keep records before they are purged.

Only users with admin permissions can change company settings. After you change settings, make sure you click Save at the bottom of the page.

Keep position history for

The number of days position history is available before being purged.

Keep message history for

The number of days message history is available before being purged. Messages are purged whether or not they have been read.

Keep driver event history for

The number of days driver event history is available before being purged. Driver event history includes driver login and logout events, and software-specific events such as global login security violations.

Keep load info history for

The number of days load information history is available before being purged. Load information is stored and retrieved using integration. For more information, contact your customer service representative.

Automatically delete auxiliary vehicles

Automatically delete auxiliary vehicles that have no history or recent activity. The vehicle creation date must be older than your largest data retention setting, all data for the vehicle must have expired, and no driver or vehicle can be connected to, assigned to, or logged into the vehicle.
