Assigning a Driver to a Vehicle

The driver list shows the vehicle that a driver is logged in to, if applicable. You can assign a driver to a vehicle in the driver record. The assignment is for information only; it does not affect reports or other QTRACS functions. The list of drivers you see may be restricted based on your global group membership.

The information below your name on the right tells you which assets you are viewing: all (unrestricted user), authorized (restricted user), or filtered by a group selection. Click the linked text to change the selected groups, if you are a member of more than one global group. Click here for more information about asset access.

  1. Click the Drivers tab.
  2. Locate the driver record to view in the list and click to select it.
  3. Click edit above the details on the right.
  4. In Assigned vehicle, type or look up the vehicle ID to assign to the driver.
  5. Click save above the details on the right.
