Creating Prefilled Macro Maps
Create prefilled macro maps.
If you haven't used prefilled macros before, please read the rules and tips in the overview. It includes mapping a key block.
- Click Setup, then click the Macros tab.
- Click View Prefilled Macros.
- Click Create New.
- Select the forward and return macros to map and click Submit. The macros appear side-by-side.
- To map fields:
- Click the field to map in the forward macro. The field type and length appear below the macro template.
- Click the field to map to in the return macro. The field type and length appear below, and must match in the forward and return macros.
- Click Map fields.
- To prevent the driver from changing copied data, click Toggle protect. The field color changes to show that it's protected. Click Toggle protect again to change it back.
- To create a key block:
- Click Create key block.
- Click the first field of the key block. This is usually the first field in the first column. Click Next.
- Click the last field of the key block. The entire key block is highlighted. Click Next.
- Type the number of sets repeating data, typically the number of rows in the key block. Click Done.
- Click the field in the key block to map to the return macro. The column highlights.
- Click the corresponding field in the return macro and click Map fields. Continue until all fields are mapped.
- When you're finished, click Save.
