Trailer Tracks Application Events
- Auxiliary Sensor Open
- A sensor open condition has been detected. This is typically the auxiliary sensor, though the name of the sensor and the value can be changed. This event is generated after a user-defined validation time. By default, this event is validated after five minutes and the event is sent immediately when not empty.
- Auxiliary Sensor Closed
- A sensor closed condition has been detected. This is typically the auxiliary sensor, though the name of the sensor and the value can be changed. This event is generated after a user-defined validation time. By default, this event is validated after five minutes and the event is ignored.
- Cargo Unloaded
- The cargo sensor has detected that no cargo is present. This event is generated after a user-defined validation time. By default, this status is checked every 30 minutes, verified after five minutes, and sent immediately.
- Cargo Loaded
- The cargo sensor has detected that cargo is present. This event is generated after a user-defined validation time. By default, this status is checked every 30 minutes, verified after five minutes, and sent immediately.
- Change Trlr Monitoring
- Generated when a user changes the monitoring plan for a trailer.
- Charge Battery
- The terminal's battery requires charging.
- Door Sensor Open
- A sensor open condition has been detected. This is typically the door sensor, though the name of the sensor and the value can be changed. This event is generated after a user-defined validation time. By default, this event is validated after five minutes and the event is sent immediately when not empty.
- Door Sensor Closed
- A sensor closed condition has been detected. This is typically the door sensor, though the name of the sensor and the value can be changed. This event is generated after a user-defined validation time. By default, this event is validated after five minutes and the event is ignored.
- Emer. Tracking On
- Emergency Tracking was activated. Emergency Tracking lets you receive status reports more frequently over a specified period of time in emergency situations such as stolen trailers. Increased messaging costs are incurred with Emergency Tracking. Increased messaging also may drain the terminal's battery. You need special permission to use this feature. - Emer. Tracking Off
- Emergency Tracking was deactivated. Deactivation may be done manually or automatically based on configurations.
- Forced Disconnect
- When data sharing is enabled, this event appears in the non-owning company's trailer history if no disconnect event occurred before the "Sharing Off" event occurred. It ensures that positions received after data sharing stops is not sent to the partner in error if data sharing is later turned back on.
- Geofence Entry
- The trailer has entered its active geofence by crossing one of its boundaries.
- Geofence Exit
- The trailer has left its active geofence by crossing one of its boundaries.
- Mobile Device Installed
- A mobile (tracking) device is installed.
- Mobile Device Uninstalled
- A mobile (tracking) device is removed.
- New Trailer Record
- Generated when a new trailer is created.
- OEM Alarm
- Description of the Reefer OEM Alarm event. It corresponds to alarms 000 to 255.
- Connect
- Tractor connect event.
- Disconnect
- Tractor disconnect event.
- Position (Location)
- A position reported by the tractor (equipped with an Omnitracs mobile device).
- Reefer Fuel Normal/Low
- The fuel level status has been normal or low for a period of time.
- Reefer OEM Alarms: Check Cautionary, Critical, Shutdown
- In Trailer Tracks company settings, for untethered reefers, you can specify the severity of each of 256 OEM alarms from Carrier Standard, Carrier Advance, and Thermo King. You can also indicate the action to take for each type of alarm. For descriptions of the alarms, click Setup, Company Settings. You specify who receives the alarms in the monitoring plan.
- Reefer return temperature out-of-range
- The return temperature coming from the tethered reefer is outside the specified range.
- Reefer status not received
- The tethered reefer did not send a status report within the expected time.
- Sharing On (company ID)
- The time data sharing was enabled by the NOC and the company ID of the data-sharing partner. This event appears in both partners' trailer history. If the request to share is unsuccessful, the event "Sharing On-Fail" appears.
- Sharing Off (company ID)
- The time data sharing was disabled by the NOC and the company ID of the data-sharing partner. This event appears in both partners' trailer history. If the request to share is unsuccessful, the event "Sharing On-Fail" appears.
- Sched Monitoring On
- A scheduled temperature monitoring starting time has been detected which indicates the scheduled temperature monitoring settings are in effect.
- Sched Monitoring Off
- A scheduled temperature monitoring ending time has been detected which indicates the default temperature monitoring settings are back in effect.
- Set Point Correct/Incorrect
- Current set point temperature is correct/wrong (not within scheduled set point tolerance).
- Set Sharing On (company ID)
- The time data sharing was enabled in the Trailer Tracks application. This event appears in the owning company's trailer history only.
- Set Sharing Off (company ID)
- The time data sharing was disabled in the Trailer Tracks application. This event appears in the owning company's trailer history only.
- Temperature
- Temperature is out-of-range for the length of time specified in trailer details, reefer settings.
- Temporary Notify on
- A temporary notification setting was turned on.
- Temporary Notify off
- A temporary notification setting was turned off.
- Temporary Over/Under/Normal (Return)
- Current return air temperature is either over or under the desired temperature or the temperature is normal for the specified sensor.
- Temporary Over/Under/Normal (Supply)
- Current supply air temperature is either over or under the desired temperature or the temperature is normal for the specified sensor.
- Tethered reefer shutdown
- The tethered reefer experienced a shutdown alarm.
- Tethered reefer alarm
- The tethered reefer experienced an alarm. Check the trailer details for more information.
- Tractor Position
- The position of the tractor equipped with an Omnitracs mobile device.
- UTT Status Report
- A return message treated as a status report event and containing only status information and not other event information. Status reports are unsolicited or are in response to a ping.
Applies to: The following events require
untethered firmware version 3 or higher.
- Beginning of Trip (BOT)
- Determined when the trailer moves beyond a specified radius from its last End Of Trip (EOT) position.
- End of Trip (EOT)
- Determined when the trailer with a BOT position has not moved for a specified duration.
- Extended End of Trip (EEOT)
- Determined when the trailer with an EOT position has not moved for a longer specified duration. For example, the EOT may occur after two hours, and the EEOT after eight hours.
- Power On
- Trailer connected to a tractor through the 7-way connector.
- Power off
- Trailer disconnected from a tractor.
