Trailer Details - Mobile Unit - Reefer Parameters
The Reefer Parameters section lets you view untethered reefer configuration parameters. This section does not appear if you are editing the trailer settings.
- Enable monitoring
- Indicates whether reefer monitoring is enabled.
- Temperature Monitoring
- Default monitoring is used for standard reefer loads; the terminal compares the reefer air temperature with the target (set point) temperature and the default temperature tolerance. Scheduled monitoring is used when the reefer load requires closer monitoring, and is activated on the Settings - Reefer tab.
Default Temperature Monitoring Parameters
- Target Temperature
- The set point plus tolerance as specified in the monitoring plan.
- Temperature Sensor
- The sensor being monitored: Return Air, Supply Air, or both. The temperature sensor may not be monitored.
- Verify Temperature Out-of-Range After
- The amount of time that the temperature can be out of range before the terminal generates an alarm.
- Temperature Out-of-Range Action
- From the drop-down list, select the action that
you want to perform when an out-of-range/in-range event occurs:
- Ignore-no action
- Send with next message-send the message the next time the terminal sends a scheduled message, such as a status report
- Send immediately-send the event as soon as it is detected
- Send immediately and stay awake-send the event as soon as it is detected and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached
- Verify Temperature Normal After
- The amount of time a temperature must return to the relative temperature range after an alarm before the alarm is turned off.
- Temperature Normal Action
- The action performed when a temperature returns to normal. The actions are the same as for out-of-range.
- Suspend Verification After Defrost For
- The amount of time, after a defrost cycle, that the temperature can be out of range before the terminal generates an alarm.
- Low Fuel Threshold
- The amount of time the reefer fuel level is validated before generating a fuel event (low or normal).
- Verify Low Fuel After
- The amount of time the reefer fuel level is validated before generating a fuel event (low or normal).
- Low Fuel Action
- The action taken by the terminal when a fuel event (low or
normal) is generated. Options are:
- Send with next message—the message is sent the next time the terminal sends a scheduled message, such as a status report.
- Send immediately—send the event as soon as it is detected.
- Send immediately and stay awake—send the event as soon as it is detected and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached.
- Alarm Actions
- The actions to take when a Shutdown Alarm, Critical Alarm, Cautionary Alarm, and/or Check Alarm event occurs. The options are the same as for low fuel actions.
- Solar Panel
- Indicates whether the terminal is powered by a solar panel.
Scheduled Temperature Monitoring Parameters
- Start Date - End Date
- The dates when scheduled monitoring begins and ends. End date may be "Ongoing."
- Target Temperature
- The specific temperature plus the tolerance while the reefer is under scheduled monitoring.
- Temperature Sensor
- The sensor being monitored during the scheduled monitoring duration: Return Air, Supply Air, or both.
