Trailer Details - Reporting - Trip Status Reporting Parameters

Lets you create or modify trip status parameters for trailers with TT210/200 devices and untethered terminal firmware release 3 or higher. After you change settings, make sure that you click save.

Enable Reporting
Check to enable trip status reporting.
Beginning of Trip . . . miles
Type the minimum radius a trailer has to travel after its last end of trip status to be considered in a trip. This allows for slight differences in calculated positions.
End of Trip
Select the length of time a trailer must remain in place to be considered at the end of the trip.
Ext(ended) End of Trip
Select the length of time a trailer must remain in place to be considered at the extended end of the trip. The end of trip may indicate a driver rest period, and the extended end of trip may indicate that the trip is completed.
In Trip Status Report Interval
Select how often the terminal sends a status report when in a trip (there has been a beginning of trip status and no end of trip status).
Beginning / End / Ext End of Trip Action
Select the action to take when you receive a beginning of trip, end of trip, and extended end of trip status. Options are:
  • Ignore-no action is taken when the event occurs.
  • Send with next message-the message is sent the next time the terminal sends a scheduled message, such as a status report.
  • Send immediately-send the event as soon as it is detected.
  • Send immediately and stay awake-send the event as soon as it is detected and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached.
  • Send with next message when not empty-the message is sent the next time the terminal sends a scheduled message if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded.
  • Send immediately when not empty-the message is sent as soon as it is detected if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded.
  • Send immediately and stay awake when not empty-send the event as soon as it is detected and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded
  • Send immediately when not empty, with next message when empty-send the event now if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded, or with the next message if the trailer is empty
  • Send immediately and stay awake when not empty, with next message when empty-send the event now if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached, or with the next message if the trailer is empty.
