Trailer Settings: Reefer

Reefer settings allow you to enable reefer monitoring, set up scheduled monitoring, change the reefer model number, and specify whether a solar panel has been installed. To enable reefer monitoring and edit its settings:

  1. Click Trailers.
  2. Locate the reefer to enable and click its ID.
    Its details open below the map.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Click the Reefer sub-tab.
  5. Click edit.
  6. Check the Enable Reefer Monitoring box to enable the mobile terminal for refrigerated monitoring.
  7. Type the model number if you know it .
  8. Check the Solar Panel Installed box if applicable.
    Note: If it is a solar reefer, you can check Solar Panel Installed. This setting should be specified during installation and is required to determine the reefer voltage.
  9. Click save.
    Note: Enabling reefer monitoring changes the billing plan and additional charges are incurred.
  10. Click Continue to enable or Cancel to cancel this action.

Scheduled Monitoring (for reefer only)

Activating scheduled monitoring also activates scheduled temperature monitoring and set point monitoring. When scheduled monitoring is enabled, an email is sent to the people in the email distribution box for the following events: temperature events, fuel events, set point events, and critical or shutdown OEM alarms. To activate scheduled monitoring for the currently selected trailer:

  1. Click the Settings tab.
  2. Click the Reefer sub-tab.
  3. Under Scheduled Monitoring, click activate.
  4. Type the starting and ending dates and times for the notification.
    • Check Now if you want it to start when you save it.
    • Check Ongoing if you do not want an expiration date.
  5. Select the conditions for notification.
  6. Type email address(es) for the individual(s) you want to receive notifications and click Add.
  7. To remove an email address, select it and click Remove.
  8. Click save.
