Delete a Trailer

If you have administrative permission to manage trailers, you can delete them. When you delete a trailer, the system also deletes any associated data, including status reports, positions, events, and alerts. Check that the trailer does not have a status of "Update in Progress" before you attempt to delete it. If you delete a trailer with pending updates or position requests, the system could recreate the trailer when the update completes. You cannot delete a foreign trailer (a trailer owned by another company).

  1. Click the Trailers tab.
  2. Locate the trailer you want to change in the list and click its ID.
    Its details open below the map.
  3. Click the Settings tab.
  4. Click the Mobile Unit sub-tab.
  5. Click delete.
  6. Click OK.
    Clicking OK will delete all of the event and position history for the trailer and this information cannot be recovered.
