Email Notification Configuration

You can have VIR send an email when defects are reported.

1. From the VIR Home page, click Settings .
2. Click Email Notifications; then click Add Email Notification.
3. Type the email address of the user whom you want to receive alerts.
4. Select a Group Name and Time Zone, identify the type of defect you want this user to see; then click Add.

Note: You may want to consider the time zone of the recipient. Ensure your employee is aware that 7 AM Eastern notifications will arrive at 4 AM for someone in Pacific time.
