Changing Your Preferences, Password, and Notification Settings

You can change your preferences and password.

To open your preferences:

Click Preferences at the top of the page .
If you are an administrator, open the Administration drop-down list to click the Preferences link.
If you're in Administration, click the Preferences tab.

The User Settings for Yourself page opens.

To change your password

Your password must meet the following criteria:

Consist of 8-35 characters
Contain both letters and numbers. Special characters can be used except for the following: ^ _ \ " [ ] { } ~ `

In User Settings For Yourself, type your New Password.
Retype it in the corresponding field.
Click Save.

Use your new password the next time you login.

To change the way you receive notifications

These procedures are used for Trailer Tracks, Performance Monitoring, and QTRACS software alerts and notifications.

New message and alert notifications are set by priority level (high, medium, and low). You can set one or more different notification methods for each alert level.

In User Settings for Yourself, click the Alerts tab.
Adjust your priority notification methods.
Click Save.

Note: If you use QTRACS software, your notification preferences are used to notify you of new return messages. Normal priority return messages use your low-priority setting, messages the driver marked as urgent use medium-priority settings, and panic messages use high-priority settings.

Message notifications do not appear on the Alerts page. You see notifications using the Notifier window, in your email account, or by pager/text message.

You must also check the Notify of return message from vehicle box in the Message Notification Preferences section on the QTRACS tab.
