Update Your Software


Normally, RDC/XRS Mobile and the RDC/XRS Relay software are updated automatically. However, those that use MDM software to deploy RDC/XRS Mobile and users that have manually declined updating their software should update to the current RDC/XRS software versions before converting to ELD.

XRS fleet Administrators can reference the Determine XRS Version Numbers Quick Guide to ensure XRS Mobile and the XRS Relay software are current. RDC users can contact roadnetsupport@omnitracs.com to confirm device version numbers.

If updates are required, reference the Updating the Omnitracs RDC/XRS Relay and Updating Omnitracs RDC/XRS Mobile Quick Guides to update to the latest versions of RDC/XRS software. Fleet Administrators can refer to Determine RDC/XRS Version Numbers Quick Guide to ensure RDC/XRS Mobile and the RDC/XRS Relay software are current.
