Enable ELD


After you upgrade the firmware on your AOBRDs, update your driver and vehicle records, and train your drivers and back office personnel on their new responsibilities and changes to how Hours of Service looks and functions, you can enable ELD on your AOBRDs. That can be done per depot, per vehicle, or across your fleet.

It may take an hour or two for ELD to be enabled on your units. If the change isn't complete after four hours, in the US contact customer support at (800) 541-7490 or in Canada, call 1 800 863-9191.

Instructions on how to enable your fleet

Drivers must have and present ELD cab cards during roadside inspections. If you haven’t already downloaded or ordered new cab cards, go here to print your own copies. You can order laminated ELD cab-cards from the Customer Portal, or if in Canada, contact your customer service representative to order copies.
